These exercise sessions lastapproximately one hour and take place in the conference room of the librarylocated at 111 Hiern Avenue in Pass Christian. Please wear comfortable clothes. The library is thrilled to have author Deborah Tainsh returnto facilitate her “Flash Writing Your Memoir” class here at the Pass ChristianLibrary.  The Fall series will begin at2pm on Tuesday, October 7^th and continue weekly through Tuesday, November18th.  Please note there will be no classon Tuesday, November 11^th since the library will be closed toobserve Veteran’s Day.  The purpose ofthe workshop is to inspire and assist those attending the class to writestories for family posterity through flash, micro and creative nonfictionwriting to tell true life or fictional stories. Ideally, participants will attend as many sessions as possible, butperfect attendance is not required.

Deborah Tainsh is the author of thenovel Love’s Return;  the memoir Heartof a Hawk:  One Family’s Sacrifice andJourney Toward Healing; and essays published the Chicken Soup for theSoul publications and Folded Flag: Families of War Share Stories of Coping, Courage and Faith.  Ms.Tainshhas facilitated numerous creative and memoir writing workshops for librariesand Barnes and Noble stores in Georgia and Florida.
