GSK Science in the Summer™Be a Health Scientist! is an exciting program hosted by the Lynn Meadows DiscoveryCenter. The program provides youth with an opportunity to learn about the roles of health scientists through fun and interactive activities.  The program is designed for children grades 2nd-6th to increase their interest in science and inspire them to pursue STEM careers.  Please call Sarabeth at Orange Grove Library at 228-832-6924 to register your child.

This class introduces you to the basics of using Microsoft’s Office  Word program, a  document-creating program used for for creating, editing and formatting various types of documents. It is a part of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, and is widely used for tasks like writing letters, reports, resumes, and more.

This class will teach you how to create, save and upload a one-page resume to an online job website using a template taken from Microsoft’s Word program, and how to fill out a job application online.

This class introduces you to the basics of using Microsoft’s Office Publisher program, a document-creating programs for creating visually appealing, professional-looking publications. It's particularly useful for designing and laying out documents for print or online use, such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, and more. Publisher focuses on page layout and design rather than text composition, making it distinct from Microsoft Word.

Whatif everyone in Pass Christian read the same book and then joined together totalk about it?  That is the idea behindOne Book, One Pass! Our 2025 selection isSouth To America:  A Journey Below theMason-Dixon To Understand the Soul of a Nation by award winning authorImani Perry.  This book received the 2022National Book Award for Nonfiction.  Overthe next several months, book discussions and programs will be held throughoutthe community, culminating in a presentation by the author, Professor ImaniPerry, on Thursday, October 16th at the Randolph Center in Pass Christian.
